exhibit at the Huntington Library in Pasadena

Salk Institute by Louis Kahn in La Jolla
I've never been too much into photography but I've come to be extremely intrigued by the notion that a photo captures a singular moment in time, and that moment lives on for however long the photograph survives for. That may be overly poetic but those are my thoughts.
These three were taken in January of 2014 when I was home for the winter break. I went to the Huntington Library in Pasadena and my favorite part was the Japanese bonzai garden; something about Japanese gardens and culture amuses me. The last is the Salk Institute, built by one of my favorite architects. The level of detail incorporated into this building is flawless... I only could gawk at it from behind because the campus was closed... The two hour journey was still worth it, but I will have to go again this upcoming winter break.
